Marie-Ève Milot is an actress, director and writer. She has appeared in over twenty theatrical productions, including Annick Lefebvre’s Les Barbelés and Rébecca Déraspe’s Les Filles du Saint-Laurent (in collaboration with Annick Lefebvre), directed by Alexia Bürger. Her Duceppe credits include Pétrole, Ne m’oublie pas, Peter et Alice, Sunderland and Thérèse et Pierrette à l’école des Saints-Anges. In September 2022, she directed her first play, Mama by Nathalie Doummar, which was revived in 2023 as part of the Just for Laughs Festival.
She has also played a dozen major ongoing roles in various Quebec TV series, including Les pays d’en haut and, more recently, 5e Rang.
She co-directs the Théâtre de l’Affamée alongside Marie-Claude St-Laurent, with whom she has written several four-handed plays, including Cour à scrap – Portrait d’une famille reconstituée, Chienne(s), Débranchée (Unplugged), Guérilla de l’ordinaire, Sappho and Clandestines. She has directed her company’s last four productions, as well as Nathalie Doummar’s Sissi and Phara Tibault’s Chokola. She has published La Coalition de la robe, an unruly documentary written with Marie-Claude Garneau and Marie-Claude St-Laurent. The three of them are literary directors of La Nef, the feminist theater collection of Éditions du remue-ménage.
